Volcanoes in the Mist
One afternoon as we headed back to Kigali, two blue pyramids appeared in the west on the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. These are the volcanoes, Muhabura and Karisimbi in the Virunga Mountains. Karasimbi is home to the famous mountain gorillas. Eco tourism is an important source of income for Rwanda.
