This is one of few political pieces I've ever done and it was the first piece I did upon my return. I thought...OMG I am painting corpses! It is referencing then President Clinton's speech in Rwanda to a group of genocide survivors. Claiming that he and the world didn't know, he stated, "Day after day people like me were sitting in offices unaware etc. etc. " But we did know.
